Infused water is magic. I am completely obsessed and in love. The possibilities are endless. It is cheap, easy, quick, impossible to mess up and so tasty! Over in Western Australia where I am based at the moment (living in Perth and originally a Florida girl) it’s summertime. And it is HOT. The infused water is SO refreshing and such a welcomed alternative to regular old water when you need a more exciting flavor. Not to mention- it’ seriously delicious and did I mention 100% natural? I love making up a giant pitcher and keeping it the fridge for a day or two (if it lasts this long). It is a great contribution to dinner parties, picnics, luncheons and a day at the beach. Guests love it because it is typically very pretty and colorful and perfect for those who aren’t interested in either the alcoholic or overly processed, high fructose corn syrup-filled beverage choices. This is hydration at its finest! (And most delicious.)
Enjoy all the benefits (which are pretty much endless) of water- with beautiful, colorful flavoring!
Such benefits include: clear and vibrant skin, detox and cleansing, maintaing a healthy weight, aiding in weight loss, decreases likelihood for migraines/headaches, optimal kidney function, optimized muscle function and performance, optimized brain function, normalized body temperature and more!
Water is the source of all life and our bodies are mostly made up of it- so doesn’t make sense that we would want to stay as hydrated as possible? Drinking about 2 Litres of filtered water a day is optimal for most people. If you’re living in extreme heat, sweating a lot, or a much smaller/bigger person than most- drink more or less accordingly. Listen to your body.
You can mix up certain citrus, fruits, vegetables and herbs together to make a sensational concoction. Try using whatever you have in your house. Cut up your food of choice and place in pitcher, glass, etc. with filtered water. for optimal flavor, let it sit (preferably in the fridge) for 30 minutes min. before consumption. Not flavorful enough? Simply let it continue to sit. I usually make a pitcher in the morning and enjoy it throughout the afternoon once it’s properly set-usually for up to 24 hours. Once you’re finished with the water enjoy leftovers (wouldn’t recommend this for the herbs) in a fresh juice!
Some suggestions include:
- Peach and Sage
- Watermelon and Rosemary
- Blackberry and Mint
- Lemon and Lime
- Strawberry and Mint
- Apple
- Cucumber
- Orange
- Pineapple and Mint
- Cucumber, Lemon and Basil
Play around with it, find your favorite flavors!

Hi Marla! I would suggest sage for now and then lavender externally rubbed onto your temples. However, it depends what kind of migraines you’re having and what actually causes them. This would be a great start, though!
